Scope of Work

  • Remove all rubbish and debris from the loading bay area.
  • Sweep and mop the entire floor surface using appropriate cleaning solutions.
  • Sanitise all high-touch surfaces including door handles, light switches, and any equipment controls.
  • Ensure all rubbish bins are emptied, cleaned, and sanitised.
  • Dust and wipe down all horizontal surfaces including ledges and railings.
  • Inspect and clean any visible stains or spills immediately.
  • Ensure proper ventilation and odour control measures are in place.

Method

  1. Begin by removing all visible rubbish and debris, placing it in the designated rubbish bins.
  2. Use a broom to sweep the entire floor area, ensuring all corners and edges are reached.
  3. Prepare a mop bucket with a suitable cleaning solution, ensuring it is correctly diluted as per manufacturer’s instructions.
  4. Mop the floor systematically, starting from the farthest corner and working towards the exit to avoid stepping on wet surfaces.
  5. Use a sanitising spray and cloth to wipe down all high-touch surfaces, ensuring even coverage.
  6. Empty rubbish bins, replace liners, and sanitise the bins inside and out.
  7. Dust all horizontal surfaces using a microfibre cloth to capture dust effectively.
  8. Inspect the area for any remaining stains or spills and clean them using appropriate spot cleaning techniques.
  9. Ensure the area is well-ventilated and apply odour neutralisers if necessary.

Good Surfaces are mostly clean with minor dust or debris. No strong odours. High-touch surfaces are sanitised. Floor is clean with minimal wet patches. Bins are empty but may have minor residue.
Pass Surfaces have some dust or debris. Mild odours may be present. High-touch surfaces are mostly sanitised. Floor is clean but may have visible wet patches. Bins are emptied but not fully sanitised.
Fail Surfaces are visibly dirty with dust, debris, or stains. Strong odours present. High-touch surfaces are not sanitised. Floor is dirty or wet. Bins are full or not sanitised.
