Scope of Work
- Thoroughly clean and sanitise all surfaces, including walls, floors, and ceilings.
- Use colour-coded cleaning systems to prevent cross-contamination.
- Empty and sanitise rubbish bins.
- Clean and sanitise all high-touch areas such as door handles, light switches, and taps.
- Ensure all cleaning agents used are appropriate for a quarantine environment and comply with Australian standards.
- Maintain a log of cleaning activities for auditing purposes.
Method
- Prepare the cleaning trolley with all necessary equipment and cleaning agents, ensuring colour-coded systems are in place.
- Begin by dusting all surfaces from high to low, ensuring no dust is left behind.
- Sanitise all high-touch areas using appropriate disinfectants.
- Mop floors using a disinfectant solution, ensuring no residue is left.
- Empty rubbish bins, replace liners, and sanitise the bins.
- Inspect the area to ensure all tasks are completed to the required standard.
