Scope of Work
- Dusting all surfaces including shelves, counters, and equipment.
- Sanitising all high-touch areas such as door handles, taps, and light switches.
- Vacuuming and mopping floors using a colour-coded cleaning system.
- Emptying and sanitising rubbish bins.
- Cleaning and disinfecting sinks and taps.
- Ensuring all cleaning activities comply with infection control standards.
Method
- Prepare the cleaning trolley with appropriate colour-coded cloths and cleaning agents.
- Dust all surfaces using a microfibre cloth to capture dust particles.
- Sanitise high-touch areas with a hospital-grade disinfectant.
- Vacuum floors using a HEPA filter vacuum cleaner to reduce airborne particles.
- Mop floors with a neutral detergent and disinfectant solution.
- Empty rubbish bins, replace liners, and sanitise the bin interior and exterior.
- Clean sinks and taps with a non-abrasive cleaner and disinfectant.
