Scope of Work

  • Thoroughly clean and sanitise all touchpoints including handrails, benches, and ticket machines.
  • Remove all rubbish and debris from the area and empty rubbish bins regularly.
  • Spot clean any spills or stains on floors and surfaces immediately.
  • Dust all surfaces including signage, ledges, and fixtures.
  • Mop floors with appropriate cleaning solutions to ensure they are free of dirt and grime.
  • Ensure all glass surfaces, including windows and doors, are free of smudges and fingerprints.
  • Maintain cleanliness of surrounding areas, including pathways and access points.

Method

  1. Begin by collecting all rubbish and debris, placing it in the designated rubbish bins.
  2. Use a colour-coded cleaning system to avoid cross-contamination, ensuring separate cloths and mops for different areas.
  3. Apply appropriate cleaning agents to all touchpoints and surfaces, allowing sufficient contact time for effective sanitising.
  4. Dust all surfaces using microfibre cloths to capture dust and allergens.
  5. Spot clean any visible stains or spills immediately using suitable cleaning solutions.
  6. Mop floors using a trolley with a dual-bucket system to ensure clean water is used throughout the process.
  7. Clean glass surfaces with a glass cleaner and a squeegee for a streak-free finish.

Quality Criteria

Performance Level Criteria
Excellent All surfaces are visibly clean and free of dust, dirt, and smudges. No rubbish or debris is present. Floors are dry and free of stains. Glass surfaces are streak-free. All touchpoints are sanitised and free of visible marks.
Good Minor dust or smudges present on less than 5% of surfaces. Rubbish bins are less than half full. Floors are mostly clean with minor spots. Glass surfaces have minor streaks.
Pass Noticeable dust or smudges on 10% of surfaces. Rubbish bins are more than half full but not overflowing. Floors have visible dirt or stains in less than 10% of the area. Glass surfaces have visible streaks.
Fail Significant dust, dirt, or smudges on more than 10% of surfaces. Rubbish bins are overflowing. Floors have visible dirt or stains in more than 10% of the area. Glass surfaces are heavily streaked.
