Scope of Work
- Remove all rubbish and debris from the steam room.
- Sanitise all surfaces including benches, walls, and floors using appropriate cleaning agents.
- Clean and polish glass surfaces and mirrors.
- Ensure drains are free from blockages and clean.
- Wipe down and sanitise door handles and any touchpoints.
- Inspect and clean any visible mould or mildew.
- Ensure the room is free from unpleasant odours.
Method
- Prepare the cleaning trolley with all necessary equipment and cleaning agents, ensuring colour-coded cloths are used for different surfaces.
- Remove all rubbish and place it in the designated rubbish bin.
- Apply a suitable sanitising solution to all surfaces, allowing appropriate dwell time as per the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Scrub benches, walls, and floors with a non-abrasive brush.
- Rinse surfaces with clean water and dry with a clean cloth.
- Clean glass surfaces with a glass cleaner and polish with a microfibre cloth.
- Check and clean drains, ensuring they are free from blockages.
- Wipe down all touchpoints with a disinfectant wipe.
- Inspect for mould and mildew, treating any affected areas with a mould remover.
- Ensure the room is left dry and free from any cleaning residue.
