Scope of Work

  • Dust all horizontal surfaces including window sills, ledges, and furniture.
  • Sanitise all high-touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches, and bed rails.
  • Clean and disinfect the floor using a mop and appropriate disinfectant.
  • Empty and sanitise rubbish bins, replacing liners as needed.
  • Clean and sanitise the bathroom facilities, including the toilet, sink, and taps.
  • Ensure all cleaning is performed using a colour-coded cleaning system to prevent cross-contamination.

Method

  1. Prepare the cleaning trolley with all necessary equipment and supplies, ensuring colour-coded cloths and mops are used.
  2. Dust all surfaces using a damp microfibre cloth to capture dust particles.
  3. Sanitise high-touch areas with a hospital-grade disinfectant, allowing appropriate contact time for effectiveness.
  4. Mop the floor using a two-bucket system to ensure clean and dirty water are kept separate.
  5. Empty rubbish bins, replace liners, and sanitise the bin interior and exterior.
  6. Clean bathroom facilities with appropriate disinfectants, ensuring all surfaces are thoroughly wiped and dried.
