Scope of Work

  • Dusting and wiping all surfaces, including benches, equipment exteriors, and shelves.
  • Sanitising all high-touch areas such as door handles, light switches, and taps.
  • Mopping floors with appropriate disinfectant solutions.
  • Emptying and sanitising rubbish bins.
  • Cleaning and sanitising sinks and taps.
  • Ensuring all cleaning activities comply with infection control protocols.

Method

  1. Use a colour-coded cleaning system to prevent cross-contamination.
  2. Start by dusting and wiping surfaces with a microfibre cloth dampened with a suitable disinfectant.
  3. Sanitise high-touch areas using a hospital-grade disinfectant.
  4. Mop floors using a two-bucket system to ensure effective cleaning and sanitising.
  5. Empty rubbish bins, replace liners, and sanitise the bin interior and exterior.
  6. Clean and sanitise sinks and taps thoroughly, ensuring no residue is left.

Good Surfaces are mostly clean with minimal dust or marks. High-touch areas are sanitised with slight residue. Floors are clean with minor spots. No strong odours present. Infection control protocols are mostly followed.
Pass Surfaces have some dust and marks. High-touch areas are sanitised but with visible residue. Floors have visible spots. Mild odours may be present. Basic infection control protocols are followed.
Fail Surfaces are dusty and marked. High-touch areas are not properly sanitised. Floors are dirty and wet. Strong odours are present. Infection control protocols are not followed.
