Scope of Work
- Dusting and wiping all surfaces, including benches, equipment exteriors, and shelves.
- Sanitising all high-touch areas such as door handles, light switches, and taps.
- Mopping floors with appropriate disinfectant solutions.
- Emptying and sanitising rubbish bins.
- Cleaning and sanitising sinks and taps.
- Ensuring all cleaning activities comply with infection control protocols.
Method
- Use a colour-coded cleaning system to prevent cross-contamination.
- Start by dusting and wiping surfaces with a microfibre cloth dampened with a suitable disinfectant.
- Sanitise high-touch areas using a hospital-grade disinfectant.
- Mop floors using a two-bucket system to ensure effective cleaning and sanitising.
- Empty rubbish bins, replace liners, and sanitise the bin interior and exterior.
- Clean and sanitise sinks and taps thoroughly, ensuring no residue is left.
