Scope of Work

  • Dust all horizontal and vertical surfaces, including equipment, ledges, and furniture.
  • Sanitise all high-touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches, and control panels.
  • Vacuum all carpeted areas and mop hard floors using appropriate disinfectant solutions.
  • Empty and sanitise rubbish bins, replacing liners as needed.
  • Clean and sanitise any sinks and taps.
  • Ensure all cleaning is conducted using a colour-coded system to prevent cross-contamination.

Method

  1. Prepare the cleaning trolley with all necessary supplies, ensuring colour-coded cloths and mops are used.
  2. Dust all surfaces using a microfibre cloth, starting from the highest point and working downwards.
  3. Sanitise high-touch areas with a hospital-grade disinfectant, allowing appropriate contact time.
  4. Vacuum carpets using a HEPA-filtered vacuum cleaner to minimise airborne particles.
  5. Mop hard floors with a disinfectant solution, ensuring no pooling of liquids.
  6. Dispose of rubbish in designated bins and replace liners, ensuring bins are sanitised.
  7. Conduct a final inspection to ensure all areas meet the required cleanliness standards.

Good Surfaces are mostly clean with minimal dust; high-touch areas are sanitised with slight residue; floors are clean with minor streaks; bins are empty but not sanitised; faint odours may be present.
Pass Surfaces have visible dust; high-touch areas are not fully sanitised; floors have visible marks; bins are not emptied; noticeable odours present.
Fail Surfaces are dusty and dirty; high-touch areas are unsanitised; floors are dirty with significant marks; bins are overflowing; strong unpleasant odours present.
