Scope of Work
- Dust all horizontal surfaces including benches, shelves, and equipment.
- Sanitise all high-touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches, and bed rails.
- Vacuum and mop floors using a colour-coded cleaning system to prevent cross-contamination.
- Empty and sanitise rubbish bins, replacing liners as needed.
- Clean and sanitise sinks and taps, ensuring no water spots or residue remain.
- Ensure all cleaning is conducted in accordance with infection control protocols.
Method
- Prepare the cleaning trolley with appropriate colour-coded cloths and mops.
- Dust all surfaces using a microfibre cloth, starting from the highest point and working downwards.
- Sanitise high-touch areas with a hospital-grade disinfectant, allowing appropriate contact time.
- Vacuum the floor using a HEPA-filtered vacuum cleaner to minimise airborne particles.
- Mop the floor with a damp mop, using a neutral detergent, and allow to air dry.
- Dispose of waste in accordance with facility waste management protocols.
