Scope of Work

  • Remove all items from the freezer before cleaning.
  • Clean and sanitize all interior surfaces, including shelves, walls, and floors.
  • Wipe down and sanitize door seals and handles.
  • Remove any ice build-up using approved methods.
  • Ensure all cleaning agents are food-safe and suitable for use in cold environments.
  • Reorganize and replace items in the freezer after cleaning.

Method

  1. Turn off the freezer and remove all contents, storing them in a temporary cold storage area.
  2. Use a food-safe cleaning agent to wipe down all interior surfaces, ensuring thorough coverage.
  3. Scrub any stubborn stains or residues with a non-abrasive pad.
  4. Rinse surfaces with clean water and dry with a clean cloth.
  5. Sanitize all surfaces with a food-safe sanitizer, allowing appropriate contact time.
  6. Inspect door seals and handles, cleaning and sanitizing them thoroughly.
  7. Remove any ice build-up using a plastic scraper, if necessary.
  8. Turn the freezer back on and allow it to reach the appropriate temperature before replacing items.

Fail Visible dirt, stains, or debris present. Unacceptable odors or untidy appearance. Cleaning tasks incomplete or inadequate. Requires immediate re-cleaning.
