Scope of Work

  • Thorough cleaning and sanitising of all toilet fixtures including toilet bowls, seats, and lids.
  • Cleaning and sanitising of sinks, taps, and mirrors.
  • Emptying and sanitising rubbish bins.
  • Cleaning and sanitising of handrails and grab bars.
  • Spot cleaning of walls and doors to remove marks and stains.
  • Dusting and wiping of all surfaces including dispensers and shelves.
  • Mopping of floors with appropriate disinfectant.
  • Replenishing of toilet paper, soap, and hand towels.

Method

  1. Prepare cleaning trolley with colour-coded cleaning cloths and appropriate cleaning agents.
  2. Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including gloves and masks.
  3. Remove rubbish and replace bin liners.
  4. Apply disinfectant to toilet surfaces and allow dwell time as per manufacturer’s instructions.
  5. Wipe down all surfaces with colour-coded cloths, ensuring no cross-contamination.
  6. Clean mirrors and taps with glass cleaner.
  7. Mop floors using a wet mop and disinfectant solution.
  8. Inspect and replenish consumables.
  9. Conduct a final inspection to ensure all areas meet quality criteria.

Performance Level Criteria
Excellent All surfaces are visibly clean and sanitised, no odours present, consumables fully stocked, and no marks or stains on walls or floors.
Good Surfaces are clean with minor water spots, no strong odours, consumables mostly stocked, and minimal marks on walls or floors.
Pass Surfaces are generally clean, slight odours present, consumables available but not fully stocked, some marks on walls or floors.
Fail Surfaces are visibly dirty, strong odours present, consumables not stocked, and significant marks or stains on walls or floors.
