Scope of Work

  • Dust all surfaces including equipment, shelves, and ledges.
  • Sanitise high-touch areas such as door handles and light switches.
  • Vacuum and mop floors to remove dust and debris.
  • Empty rubbish bins and replace liners.
  • Wipe down walls and doors to remove marks and stains.
  • Inspect and clean air vents to ensure proper airflow.

Method

  1. Use a colour-coded cleaning system to prevent cross-contamination.
  2. Begin by dusting from top to bottom to ensure all surfaces are free of dust.
  3. Sanitise high-touch areas using an approved disinfectant.
  4. Vacuum floors using a HEPA-filter vacuum cleaner.
  5. Mop floors with a neutral pH cleaner to prevent damage to surfaces.
  6. Empty rubbish bins, replace liners, and ensure bins are clean and odour-free.
  7. Wipe down walls and doors with a microfibre cloth and appropriate cleaner.
  8. Inspect air vents and clean with a vacuum or damp cloth as needed.

Pass Visible dust on surfaces; floors have noticeable marks; odours are present; some high-touch areas are not sanitised; rubbish bins are not emptied or have visible residue.
Fail Heavy dust accumulation; floors are dirty and wet; strong odours present; high-touch areas are not sanitised; rubbish bins are overflowing or dirty.
