Scope of Work

  • Dust all horizontal surfaces including ledges, windowsills, and furniture.
  • Sanitise all high-touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches, and taps.
  • Vacuum all carpeted areas and mop hard floors using a colour-coded system.
  • Empty and sanitise rubbish bins, replacing liners as needed.
  • Clean and sanitise any visible stains or spills immediately.
  • Ensure all cleaning activities comply with Australian infection control guidelines.

Method

  1. Prepare the cleaning trolley with all necessary supplies, ensuring colour-coded cloths and mops are used.
  2. Dust all surfaces using a microfibre cloth, starting from the highest point and working downwards.
  3. Sanitise high-touch areas with an approved disinfectant, allowing appropriate contact time.
  4. Vacuum carpets using a HEPA-filtered vacuum cleaner to minimise airborne particles.
  5. Mop hard floors with a neutral detergent, ensuring no residue is left behind.
  6. Dispose of rubbish in accordance with local waste management regulations.

Good Minor dust or smudges on less than 5% of surfaces. No strong odours. High-touch areas are sanitised. Floors are clean with minimal streaks. Rubbish bins are empty.
Pass Noticeable dust or smudges on less than 10% of surfaces. Mild odours present. High-touch areas are mostly sanitised. Floors are generally clean. Rubbish bins are not overflowing.
Fail Visible dust, dirt, or stains on more than 10% of surfaces. Strong odours present. High-touch areas are not sanitised. Floors are dirty or sticky. Rubbish bins are overflowing.
