Scope of Work

  • Dusting of all surfaces including control panels and railings.
  • Sanitising of high-touch areas such as buttons and handrails.
  • Sweeping and mopping of the weighbridge platform and surrounding areas.
  • Emptying and cleaning of rubbish bins.
  • Cleaning of any visible spills or stains immediately.
  • Inspection and cleaning of drainage systems to prevent blockages.

Method

  1. Use a colour-coded cleaning system to prevent cross-contamination.
  2. Begin by dusting all surfaces with a microfibre cloth.
  3. Sanitise high-touch areas using an approved disinfectant.
  4. Sweep the entire weighbridge platform and surrounding areas.
  5. Mop the platform using a neutral detergent and warm water.
  6. Empty rubbish bins and replace liners.
  7. Inspect drainage systems and clean as necessary.

Good Minor dust or debris in non-critical areas; surfaces are mostly sanitised; rubbish bins are empty but may have minor residue; drainage systems are mostly clear.
Pass Visible dust or debris in some areas; surfaces are partially sanitised; rubbish bins are not overflowing but have visible residue; drainage systems have minor blockages.
Fail Significant dust or debris; surfaces are not sanitised; rubbish bins are overflowing; drainage systems are blocked.
