Scope of Work

  • Remove all waste and replace rubbish bin liners.
  • Sanitise all surfaces, including floors, walls, and doors.
  • Clean and sanitise waste bins inside and out.
  • Ensure no visible waste or spills are present.
  • Check and clean any ventilation grilles.
  • Ensure the area is free from odours.

Method

  1. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) including gloves and masks.
  2. Use a colour-coded cleaning system to prevent cross-contamination.
  3. Remove waste and replace bin liners, ensuring bins are sanitised before new liners are placed.
  4. Use a mop and sanitising solution to clean the floor, ensuring all corners and edges are reached.
  5. Wipe down walls and doors with a disinfectant solution.
  6. Inspect and clean ventilation grilles to ensure they are free from dust and debris.
  7. Conduct a final inspection to ensure the room is free from odours and visible waste.

Quality Criteria

Performance Level Criteria
Excellent No visible waste, surfaces are spotless and sanitised, no odours, bins are clean and sanitised inside and out, ventilation grilles are dust-free.
Good Minor dust or smudges on surfaces, no visible waste, bins are clean, slight odour present.
Pass Some visible dust or smudges, bins are clean but not sanitised, noticeable odour present.
Fail Visible waste or spills, surfaces are dirty, bins are not clean, strong odour present, ventilation grilles are clogged with dust.
