Scope of Work

  • Dust and wipe all surfaces including walls, doors, and control panels.
  • Sanitise handrails, buttons, and frequently touched surfaces.
  • Vacuum and mop floors using appropriate disinfectant solutions.
  • Empty and clean rubbish bins, replacing liners as needed.
  • Inspect and remove any visible marks or stains from surfaces.
  • Ensure no unpleasant odours are present.

Method

  1. Prepare the cleaning trolley with colour-coded cleaning cloths and appropriate disinfectants.
  2. Dust all surfaces using a microfibre cloth to remove loose dirt and dust.
  3. Sanitise handrails, buttons, and control panels with a hospital-grade disinfectant.
  4. Vacuum the floor to remove debris, then mop using a disinfectant solution.
  5. Empty rubbish bins, clean them with a disinfectant, and replace liners.
  6. Conduct a final inspection to ensure all surfaces are clean and free of marks.

Performance Level Criteria

Good Surfaces are clean with minimal dust, no visible marks, no odours, and bins are empty with new liners.
Pass Surfaces are mostly clean, minor dust or marks may be present, no strong odours, and bins are emptied.
Fail Visible dust, marks, or odours present, bins not emptied, or liners not replaced.
