Scope of Work
- Dust all surfaces including furniture, fixtures, and fittings.
- Vacuum carpets and upholstered furniture.
- Mop hard floors using a colour-coded system to prevent cross-contamination.
- Sanitise all high-touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches, and remote controls.
- Empty rubbish bins and replace liners.
- Clean and sanitise any toys or children’s equipment.
- Ensure all cleaning activities comply with infection control guidelines.
Method
- Prepare the cleaning trolley with all necessary supplies, ensuring colour-coded cloths and mops are used.
- Dust all surfaces using a microfibre cloth, starting from high surfaces and working downwards.
- Vacuum carpets and upholstery thoroughly, ensuring no debris is left.
- Mop hard floors with a neutral detergent, using a wet mop for sanitising.
- Sanitise high-touch surfaces with an approved disinfectant, allowing appropriate contact time.
- Empty rubbish bins, replace liners, and dispose of waste according to facility protocols.
- Wipe and sanitise toys and children’s equipment with a suitable disinfectant.
- Conduct a final inspection to ensure all areas meet the required standards.
