Scope of Work

  • Remove rubbish and debris from the fountain area.
  • Clean and sanitise the fountain basin and surrounding surfaces.
  • Wipe down all accessible surfaces, including ledges and decorative elements.
  • Ensure all water features are free from visible dirt and algae.
  • Dust and clean surrounding seating and fixtures.
  • Ensure all cleaning activities comply with Australian workplace health and safety requirements.

Method

  1. Use a colour-coded cleaning system to prevent cross-contamination.
  2. Begin by removing all visible rubbish and debris, disposing of it in the appropriate rubbish bin.
  3. Apply a suitable cleaning solution to the fountain basin and surrounding surfaces, allowing it to dwell as per manufacturer’s instructions.
  4. Scrub surfaces with a non-abrasive brush to remove dirt and algae.
  5. Rinse thoroughly with clean water, ensuring no residue remains.
  6. Wipe down all accessible surfaces with a microfibre cloth.
  7. Dust and clean surrounding seating and fixtures using a damp cloth.
  8. Inspect the area to ensure all cleaning tasks have been completed to standard.
