Scope of Work

  • Dust and wipe all surfaces including doors, handles, and ledges.
  • Sweep and mop floors using appropriate cleaning solutions.
  • Sanitise high-touch areas such as door handles and light switches.
  • Empty and clean rubbish bins, replacing liners as necessary.
  • Inspect and clean any visible stains or marks on walls and floors.
  • Ensure all cleaning activities comply with infection control protocols.

Method

  1. Prepare cleaning trolley with colour-coded cloths and appropriate cleaning agents.
  2. Dust and wipe all surfaces using a damp microfibre cloth.
  3. Sweep the floor to remove loose debris.
  4. Mop the floor with a disinfectant solution, ensuring no pooling of water.
  5. Sanitise high-touch areas using a hospital-grade disinfectant.
  6. Empty rubbish bins, clean them with a disinfectant, and replace liners.
  7. Conduct a final inspection to ensure all areas meet quality standards.

Good Surfaces are mostly clean with minor dust or marks. Floors are clean with minimal streaks. High-touch areas are sanitised with slight smudging. No strong odours present.
Pass Surfaces have some dust or marks. Floors show streaks or minor water pooling. High-touch areas are sanitised but may have visible smudges. Mild odours present.
Fail Surfaces are visibly dirty with dust and marks. Floors are streaked or have water pooling. High-touch areas are not sanitised. Strong odours present.
