Scope of Work

  • Remove all rubbish and waste materials from bins and surrounding areas.
  • Sanitise all rubbish bins and surrounding surfaces.
  • Sweep and mop the floor to remove debris and spills.
  • Ensure all bins are lined with appropriate liners.
  • Check for and remove any visible pests or signs of infestation.
  • Ensure proper segregation of waste according to facility guidelines.

Method

  1. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) including gloves and masks.
  2. Remove rubbish from bins and transport to the designated waste disposal area using a trolley.
  3. Sanitise bins using a disinfectant solution, ensuring all surfaces are covered.
  4. Sweep the floor to remove loose debris.
  5. Mop the floor using a sanitising solution, paying special attention to corners and edges.
  6. Replace bin liners and ensure bins are properly closed.
  7. Inspect the area for any signs of pests and report if necessary.

Fail Significant rubbish or debris present; bins are unsanitised with strong odour; floor is dirty or wet; visible pests present; waste segregation incorrect.
