Scope of Work

  • Dusting of all surfaces, including shelves and storage units.
  • Sanitising of all high-touch surfaces, including door handles and light switches.
  • Mopping of floors with appropriate cleaning agents to remove spills and prevent slip hazards.
  • Emptying and sanitising rubbish bins.
  • Cleaning and sanitising of any spill containment areas.
  • Ensuring all cleaning activities comply with relevant safety and environmental regulations.

Method

  1. Use a colour-coded cleaning system to prevent cross-contamination.
  2. Begin with dusting all surfaces using microfibre cloths to capture dust particles.
  3. Sanitise high-touch surfaces with a disinfectant approved for use in hazardous material areas.
  4. Mop floors using a trolley with separate compartments for clean and dirty water, using a detergent suitable for chemical spill areas.
  5. Empty rubbish bins, replace liners, and sanitise the bin interior and exterior.
  6. Inspect spill containment areas and clean as necessary, ensuring all cleaning agents used are compatible with stored materials.
