Scope of Work

  • Dust all surfaces including shelves, counters, and storage areas.
  • Sanitise all high-touch surfaces such as door handles, counters, and telephones.
  • Vacuum carpeted areas and spot clean as necessary.
  • Mop hard floors using a colour-coded system to prevent cross-contamination.
  • Empty rubbish bins and replace liners, ensuring proper waste segregation.
  • Clean and polish glass surfaces and mirrors.
  • Ensure all cleaning supplies are stored safely and are clearly labelled.

Method

  1. Begin by dusting all surfaces using a microfibre cloth to trap dust particles.
  2. Apply a suitable sanitising solution to high-touch surfaces and allow to air dry.
  3. Vacuum carpets using a HEPA-filter vacuum to minimise airborne dust.
  4. Mop hard floors with a neutral pH cleaner, ensuring the mop is rinsed frequently.
  5. Empty rubbish bins, replace liners, and ensure waste is disposed of according to facility guidelines.
  6. Use a glass cleaner to wipe down mirrors and glass surfaces, ensuring no streaks remain.
  7. Check and restock cleaning supplies, ensuring all are stored in compliance with safety standards.

Good Minor dust on non-essential surfaces; high-touch areas are mostly sanitised; floors have minor spots; bins are emptied but may have minor residue; glass surfaces have minimal streaks.
Pass Noticeable dust on surfaces; high-touch areas partially sanitised; floors have visible dirt; bins are not overflowing but have visible residue; glass surfaces have visible streaks.
Fail Significant dust accumulation; high-touch areas not sanitised; floors are dirty and wet; bins are overflowing; glass surfaces are heavily streaked.
