Scope of Work

  • Dusting all surfaces including the scanner frame and surrounding area.
  • Sanitising touchpoints such as control panels and handles.
  • Vacuuming the floor area around the scanner.
  • Mopping hard floor surfaces with appropriate cleaning solution.
  • Emptying and sanitising rubbish bins.
  • Cleaning glass surfaces for clarity and visibility.
  • Ensuring all cleaning activities comply with Australian workplace health and safety requirements.

Method

  1. Begin by dusting all surfaces using a microfibre cloth to capture dust and prevent airborne particles.
  2. Sanitise all touchpoints using a hospital-grade disinfectant, ensuring all surfaces are visibly wet for the contact time specified by the manufacturer.
  3. Vacuum the floor area using a HEPA-filter vacuum to minimise dust and allergens.
  4. Mop the floor with a neutral pH cleaner, ensuring no residue is left behind.
  5. Empty rubbish bins, replace liners, and sanitise the bin interior and exterior.
  6. Clean glass surfaces using a streak-free glass cleaner and a lint-free cloth.
  7. Conduct a final inspection to ensure all areas meet the quality criteria.

Excellent All surfaces are free of dust and smudges; touchpoints are sanitised with no visible residue; floors are spotless and dry; bins are empty and odour-free; glass is crystal clear with no streaks.
Good Minor dust on non-essential surfaces; touchpoints are mostly sanitised; floors have minor spots; bins are empty but may have slight odour; glass has minor streaks.
Pass Noticeable dust on surfaces; some touchpoints missed; floors are clean but damp; bins are not overflowing but have noticeable odour; glass is mostly clear.
Fail Visible dust and dirt on surfaces; touchpoints not sanitised; floors are dirty or wet; bins are overflowing or have strong odour; glass is dirty or streaked.
