Scope of Work

  • Dusting of all accessible surfaces, including tanks, pipes, and railings.
  • Sanitising of high-touch areas such as control panels and handrails.
  • Removal of rubbish and debris from designated areas.
  • Mopping of non-slip flooring to remove spills and stains.
  • Cleaning of drains and grates to prevent blockages.
  • Wiping down of external tank surfaces to remove grime and residues.
  • Inspection and cleaning of safety signage to ensure visibility.

Method

  1. Use a colour-coded cleaning system to prevent cross-contamination.
  2. Begin with dusting all surfaces using microfibre cloths to capture dust particles.
  3. Apply a suitable sanitiser to high-touch areas, allowing appropriate contact time before wiping.
  4. Collect and dispose of rubbish in designated rubbish bins.
  5. Mop floors using a non-slip cleaning solution, ensuring all spills are addressed immediately.
  6. Clean drains and grates using a brush and appropriate cleaning agent.
  7. Wipe down tank surfaces with a degreaser if necessary, followed by a clean water rinse.
  8. Inspect safety signage and clean with a damp cloth to maintain visibility.

Good Minor dust or residue on less than 5% of surfaces; high-touch areas are mostly sanitised with minimal smudges; floors have minor marks but no spills; drains are mostly clear with minimal odour; safety signage is mostly clean and legible.
Pass Noticeable dust or residue on less than 10% of surfaces; high-touch areas have some smudges; floors have visible marks but no major spills; drains are somewhat clear with some odour; safety signage is somewhat clean and legible.
Fail Visible dust or residue on more than 10% of surfaces; high-touch areas are not sanitised; floors have spills or stains; drains are blocked or have strong odour; safety signage is dirty or illegible.
