Scope of Work

  • Dust and sweep the entire court surface to remove loose debris.

  • Sanitise all high-touch surfaces, including benches, railings, and door handles.
  • Empty and clean rubbish bins, replacing liners as needed.
  • Inspect and clean surrounding areas, including spectator seating and entryways.
  • Ensure all cleaning activities comply with Australian workplace health and safety requirements.

Method

  1. Begin by dusting and sweeping the entire court surface using a broom or dust mop to collect loose dirt and debris.
  2. Prepare a cleaning solution suitable for the court surface, ensuring it is safe and non-damaging.
  3. Use a damp mop to clean the court, starting from one end and working systematically to the other, ensuring even coverage.
  4. Sanitise high-touch areas with a disinfectant spray and cloth, focusing on benches, railings, and door handles.
  5. Empty rubbish bins, clean them with a disinfectant, and replace liners.
  6. Inspect surrounding areas, including spectator seating and entryways, and clean as necessary.

Performance Level Criteria
Excellent All surfaces are visibly clean and free of debris, stains, and marks. High-touch areas are sanitised and free of smudges. Rubbish bins are empty and clean. No unpleasant odours are present.
Good Surfaces are mostly clean with minor debris or marks. High-touch areas are mostly sanitised. Rubbish bins are empty but may have minor residue. No strong odours are present.
Pass Surfaces have some visible debris or marks. High-touch areas are partially sanitised. Rubbish bins are emptied but not cleaned. Mild odours may be present.
Fail Surfaces are visibly dirty with significant debris or marks. High-touch areas are not sanitised. Rubbish bins are full or dirty. Strong unpleasant odours are present.
