Scope of Work

  • Dust and sweep the entire court surface to remove debris and dust particles.
  • Mop the court using a neutral pH cleaner to maintain surface integrity and safety.
  • Sanitise high-touch areas such as door handles, light switches, and seating areas.
  • Empty and clean rubbish bins, replacing liners as needed.
  • Inspect and clean surrounding areas including benches and spectator seating.
  • Ensure all cleaning activities comply with Australian workplace health and safety requirements.

Method

  1. Begin by dusting and sweeping the entire court surface using a microfibre dust mop to capture dust and debris.
  2. Prepare a cleaning solution with a neutral pH cleaner and mop the court, ensuring even coverage and avoiding excess moisture.
  3. Use a colour-coded cloth system to sanitise high-touch areas, ensuring cross-contamination is avoided.
  4. Empty rubbish bins, clean them with a disinfectant, and replace liners.
  5. Wipe down benches and seating areas with a damp cloth and appropriate cleaner.
  6. Conduct a final inspection to ensure all areas meet the quality criteria.

Performance Level Criteria
Excellent All surfaces are visibly clean with no dust or debris. High-touch areas are sanitised and free of smudges. Rubbish bins are empty and clean. No odours present.
Good Minor dust or debris present in low-traffic areas. High-touch areas are mostly clean with minimal smudging. Rubbish bins are empty but may have minor residue.
Pass Noticeable dust or debris in some areas. High-touch areas show signs of use but are generally clean. Rubbish bins are emptied but not thoroughly cleaned.
Fail Visible dust and debris throughout. High-touch areas are visibly dirty. Rubbish bins are full or have significant residue. Unpleasant odours present.
