Scope of Work

  • Dust and wipe all surfaces including shelves, ledges, and equipment exteriors.
  • Sanitise all high-touch areas such as door handles and light switches.
  • Vacuum and mop floors using appropriate cleaning solutions.
  • Empty and sanitise rubbish bins.
  • Ensure all cleaning is performed using a colour-coded cleaning system to prevent cross-contamination.

Method

  1. Prepare the cleaning trolley with all necessary equipment and supplies, ensuring colour-coded cloths and mops are used.
  2. Dust all surfaces using a microfibre cloth, starting from the highest point and working downwards.
  3. Sanitise high-touch areas with a disinfectant solution, allowing appropriate contact time.
  4. Vacuum the floor using a HEPA-filter vacuum cleaner to remove dust and debris.
  5. Mop the floor with a neutral pH cleaner, ensuring no residue is left behind.
  6. Empty rubbish bins, replace liners, and sanitise the bin interior and exterior.

Performance Level Criteria
Excellent All surfaces are visibly clean and free from dust and marks. Floors are spotless with no residue. No odours present. High-touch areas are sanitised and free from smudges.
Good Minor dust or marks on less than 5% of surfaces. Floors are clean with minimal residue. No unpleasant odours. High-touch areas are mostly sanitised.
Pass Noticeable dust or marks on 10% of surfaces. Floors have some residue. Slight odours may be present. High-touch areas are partially sanitised.
Fail Visible dust or marks on more than 10% of surfaces. Floors are dirty with significant residue. Unpleasant odours present. High-touch areas are not sanitised.
