Scope of Work

  • Dust all surfaces including vents, ducts, and equipment.
  • Sanitise high-touch surfaces such as door handles and light switches.
  • Vacuum floors and remove any debris.
  • Mop floors with appropriate cleaning solution.
  • Empty rubbish bins and replace liners.
  • Inspect for and remove any visible mould or mildew.
  • Ensure all cleaning activities comply with infection control guidelines.

Method

  1. Prepare the cleaning trolley with all necessary supplies, ensuring colour-coded cloths and mops are used to prevent cross-contamination.
  2. Dust all surfaces using a microfibre cloth, starting from the highest points and working downwards.
  3. Sanitise high-touch areas with a disinfectant solution, allowing appropriate dwell time for effectiveness.
  4. Vacuum the floor thoroughly, paying attention to corners and edges.
  5. Mop the floor using a damp mop and a neutral pH cleaner, ensuring no excess water is left on the floor.
  6. Empty rubbish bins, replace liners, and dispose of waste according to facility protocols.
  7. Conduct a final inspection to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards.

Pass Noticeable dust or debris on some surfaces. High-touch areas show signs of cleaning but with visible streaks. Floors have visible marks. Mild odours present. Rubbish bins are not overflowing but have visible waste.
Fail Significant dust or debris on surfaces. High-touch areas are not sanitised. Floors are dirty with visible stains or water. Strong odours present. Rubbish bins are overflowing or dirty.
